MS Security Architect
Job Description:
- Client facing role
- Build and develop a practice and team with focus on Security as a service
- Security Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that align with their business needs and objectives, leveraging Microsoft security tools and best practices.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Design and implement robust IAM solutions, including multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and privileged identity management.
- Threat Detection and Response: Develop strategies and mechanisms for detecting and responding to security threats and incidents using tools like Azure Sentinel.
- Security Compliance: Ensure that the client’s environment complies with relevant security standards and regulations, and help them achieve certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Azure Security Center: Utilize Azure Security Center to monitor and enhance the security posture of Azure resources and applications.
- Network Security: Implement and manage network security solutions to protect client data and assets, including Azure Firewall, Virtual Network Service Endpoints, and VPN Gateway.
- Security Automation: Develop and maintain security automation scripts and policies to enforce security best practices.
- Vulnerability Management: Establish and maintain a vulnerability management program to identify and remediate security weaknesses in client environments.
- Security Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security architecture, configurations, incident responses, and best practices.
- Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver security training and awareness programs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in designing and implementing security solutions, with a focus on Microsoft security technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Azure Security Engineer, or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security tools and services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Security.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Ability to stay updated on the latest security threats and trends.
- Experience with security risk assessments and security architecture reviews.
